The last days of Summer

 
Friday of the 34th Week, based on Luke 21:29-33

Then he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees; as soon as they sprout leaves you can see for yourselves and know that summer is already near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Jessica is 30 and married to Jim. She is a 2nd gr. teacher and works wonderfully with her students who mostly come from low incomes and spanish -speaking homes. My son Rob (25)is married to Carrie RN and they are expecting their first little girl in Sep. Rob teaches in a parochial school. Jenny is a senoir in high school and sings wth Phx. Children's choir. I have served in music ministry, as a lector and RE teacher along with Dominican Lay formation.
