Thirsty?
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
For 6 September 2022, Tuesday of week 23 in Ordinary Time, based on Psalm 42:2-3
My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God?
My tears have been my food
day and night,
while people say to me continually,
‘Where is your God?’

As rain finally drenches our parched land here in the Garden State, your preaching drenches my spirit, Deborah. Thanks. I hope you and your family are safe and well. Preach on!!!

Please understand that I love and seek truth.
Is it good to offer promise of prosperity, to encourage people to leave everything, little though it may be, and travel to America? Does the fact that one is born in a place not indicate that one is called by God to love that place? Can one’s thirst for God not be satisfied in his native, hostile land?
