What do you want from me?

For 7 July 2024, The Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, based on Ezekiel 2:2-5
When God spoke to me, a spirit entered into me and set me on my feet; and I heard him speaking to me. He said to me, Mortal, I am sending you to the people of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me; they and their ancestors have transgressed against me to this very day. The descendants are impudent and stubborn. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ Whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house), they shall know that there has been a prophet among them.

Dear Deborah,
Grateful for your honesty and search to know what God wants for you. You affirmed so well what God wants for us…Jesus keeps telling us…are we present, listening or as you put it rebelling.
It is through a prayer of surrender and trust in Jesus in the present moment that we know and act on what God wants for us.
God is blessing your preaching as you speak from your lived experience of God in faith.
Blessings and peace, Brigid Cannon, OP
