It is Time to Clean my House
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
For 20 November 2020, Friday of week 33 in Ordinary Time, based on Luke 19:45-48
Jesus entered the temple and began to drive out those who were selling things there; and he said, ‘It is written,
“My house shall be a house of prayerâ€;
but you have made it a den of robbers.’
Every day he was teaching in the temple. The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people kept looking for a way to kill him; but they did not find anything they could do, for all the people were spellbound by what they heard.

Thanks, Connie,
How often do I “SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE?†Many times I speak the truth with anger, a raised voice or with defensiveness and not really understanding the other person. I see today where I need to clean the temple of my heart to allow Jesus to enter in before I speak.
Thank you for this reminder in your reflection of the Word.
Blessings on you and your preaching,
Brigid Cannon, OP
