For 8 May 2024, Wednesday of the sixth week of Easter, based on John 16:12-15
Jesus said to his disciples, ‘I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine. For this reason I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.’

Dear Fr. Kieran,
Just last night we had a tornado warning in Columbus, OH at our Motherhouse. It is frightening to see the devastation that can happen when the tornado lands. My sisters and I all went down to our tunnel and waited for an all clear sign. When I finally reached my bedroom and fell asleep, I thanked God for the blessings that we were safe. I arose this morning and looking out my window seeing sunshine I expressed gratitude for the many times God has blessed us and kept us safe. With trust and friendship with our loving God we do move along each day reflecting how good our God is to each of us. Thank you for your preaching and the joyful spirit you express. It enliven my spirit to know God is near and always caring for us.
God bless you, abundantly!
Joyful and grateful,
Brigid
