People were bringing little children to Jesus in order that he might touch them; and the disciples spoke sternly to them. But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.’ And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.

Thanks Connie! Love the story and the trust of the children in this family. They trusted God and their own parents. They knew that love expands to meet new needs, new persons, new situations.

Thanks Connie! I love the story and the trust manifested by the children. Their faith in God and in their parents knew that love expands to meet new needs, new persons, and new situations, when they are responded to with generosity.

Thanks Connie! I love the story, especially the response of the children. Their faith called forth a trust in their parents and in God, that leads to genuine generosity. They knew that love always expands to meet new needs, new persons, new situations.

A call to use our imaginations more. Hope depends on it. Children embody it. What a great invitation to us today — to imagine a world of peace and justice and then work for it. Thank you.

Connie, This was powerful after meeting Miracle Michael, Rebecca, and all the children we’ve touched in our journey. That love is a foretaste of heaven. As I await my grandnephews birth, it’s true, the child within is holds the keys to heaven. Thanks for reminding me of that

A wonderful homily on the Little Children with Jesus. Being a child is better, yet as I write these words, my thoughts stray to the wars surrounding children in war torn countries, including the USA. But, how do I protect them–how do I keep them safe? All I have to give are prayers.
