The Lord of Sea and Sky
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
For 2 July 2024, Tuesday of week 13 in Ordinary Time, based on Matthew 8:23-27
And when Jesus got into the boat, his disciples followed him. A gale arose on the lake, so great that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. And they went and woke him up, saying, ‘Lord, save us! We are perishing!’ And he said to them, ‘Why are you afraid, you of little faith?’ Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a dead calm. They were amazed, saying, ‘What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?’

So grateful for your powerful, realistic and inspiring message of the gospel today, Maria.
I will sing that song today that “I, the Lord of Sea and Sky” and remember your words
“that nothing can strike us down forever if He is with us.” Yes, Jesus is with us in every
Storm of life and gives us courage to trust and hope in His Will for our lives.
Blessings on your continued preaching,

Thank you for encouraging words Sometimes I feel that my heart knows what it wants to say but my words are so inadequate I’m glad despite my failings that you heard the good news I was trying to say
