For 1 March 2009, 1st Sunday of Lent, based on Mark 1:12-15
And the Spirit immediately drove Jesus out into the wilderness. He was in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels waited on him.
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.â€

What I hear is… for me to embrace the NOW and to not waste precious time looking back. With that in mind, I am compelled to praise, to bless and to preach the good news today. Thanks for breaking open the WORD this day. Peace.
