The Feast of All Souls, based on John 6:37-40

Jesus exclaimed, “Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away; for I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. This is indeed the will of my Father, that all who see the Son and believe in him may have eternal life; and I will raise them up on the last day.”

  1. Thanks, Sr. Joan! You do help me understand God working in my life and give me courage to keep believing!

  2. Your message is clear and uplifting. He indeed with gather us to his breast. Will I ever tire of hearing this? Of course not. Your words are needed to reassure because the wounds of the beliefs we grew up on, rather than inspire hope, inflicted burden and fear into our hearts – a message not so easily dispelled. So we appreciate your important message, that we are loved and will be whole because we are God’s children, all of us.
