For 19 December 2021, Fourth Sunday of Advent, based on Luke 1:39–45
In those days Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed with a loud cry, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me? For as soon as I heard the sound of your greeting, the child in my womb leapt for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her by the Lord.’

Great to hear you Peter. May we all strive to be prophets bringing the Good News of hope, that God is on our side and grasping that truth is where we will find peace.

Brilliant homily, Peter. We listened to your homily together as a community.
We could reflect on times when we each helped persons who were fragile and in need….as well as when we ourselves were thus and someone was there for us.
Wonderful escape of Advent Hope!

Brilliant homily, Peter. We listened to this together. We reflected on how we each had helped people who were fragile to find their strength and to succeed. We also reflected on how we had been helped in similar ways. Great message of Advent Hope. Blessed Christmas to you.
On another topic: we watched ODDBALL about the marvelous Mareema dogs on Middle Island. Lovely film. Joan Bukrey
